Nouveau Clip de Anggun

Recently I go to anggunworld forum to check out what's new about Anggun. Well, she released her new music video "Si Tu l'Avoues". I got curious about her clip and the song, and finally I could see it on musique-radio.com. As big fan of Anggun I give my thank to Musique Radio, merci vraiment...

In brief the clip was simple and plain, nothing catchy. Anggun just give a simple dance with spinning camera angle. Some people on Anggunesia forum complain about this clip that far from their expectation. Maybe they expect Anggun to be energizer and interactive. But that's Anggun, and it's part of her personality that I love. Anggun is not Britney Spears nor Beyonce Knowles.

The next playback of this clip, I found the interesting part about it. Here's my opinion:
  • The clip was made with fine art, so it is not selling.
  • The way Anggun dance was sufficient to this clip. Compare to Tomer G's Remix of Si Tu l'Avoues, this version was slower in beat and tempo.
  • The style of Anggun and director was minimalist, so the clip won't be so merry.
  • Anggun's dress was nice, did not expose sexuality but still sexy.
  • The clip was strong in French influence, therefore someone who habitual with American style clip won't fit on it.
The way people think about this clip is the matter of taste. Personally, I love this clip and song, a little resemble to Kyle Minogue but still Anggun. I bide for the next clip of Anggun, and for me all works from Anggun is excellent. I hope her new album got success as usual.

RENT : No Day But Today

RENT, directed by Chris Colombus is movie adaptation to the Pulitzer and Tony Award winning musical with the same title. This movie portrait the life a group of bohemians in the East Village of New York, some of them are HIV positive. They struggle their life in a lot of challenge to live in poverty. They are Mark, Roger, Mimi, Collins, Angel, Maureen, Joanne and their landlord Ben. Together they present how the real life in New York is.

One night in Christmas Eve, their landlord shut down electricity in their apartment during the eviction warning because all of inhabitants not yet pay the rent. It gains a lot of protest, so they plan the biggest protest held by Maureen. Ben, the landlord asks both Mark and Roger to prevent this protest, but the protest yet be held.

The romance is about some character on RENT. Roger the guitarist, he had a trauma about his dead girfriend and drug abuse. He got a flirt from Mimi, go-go dancer in the Catscratch Club. Angel, a drag queen and Collins, MIT lecturer were homosexual couple. They both met each other when Collin attacked by bandit and Angel help him. And last Mark who got trouble as he dumped by Maureen, a bisexual girl. Maureen a talented artist had new lover named Joanne, a lawyer with over-possessive mind. There always upside down story of their romance inside.

They were a group of people who suffer injustice, but together they are strong. There is no future and no past, because no day but today. Someone might came and gone, but there still remain a memory they have. It is 525.600 minutes to count a year, during a year of life there are so many story to tell. The matter is not how much the time remain, but it is how to use the time to create the sweetest memory so later it would be sweetest goodbye.

As a musical based movie, RENT have various beautiful music score. The most famous is Season of Love, which always played at graduation party. The other soundtrack are wonderful, the song sang by the cast too, no dubbing. That's what makes this movie excellent.

RENT gives a nice picture of friendship in pluralism where judgment isn’t exist. That is why RENT gets success and reaches the nice revenue in box office. What can be more beautiful than a real life presented in a screen? Lets watch RENT, you will get the good things inside.

Sticky Mucus : Influenza Attack

Not everyone has to have a flu shot. Some people are more at risk for catching the flu and suffering from complications than others. They should get a flu shot every fall. The Centers for Disease Control recommends that you get the flu vaccine if you are in any of the following groups or live in a household with someone who is:

  • Children ages 6 months to 23 months.
  • People 65 years of age and older.
  • People 2 years old or older who have an underlying, long-term illness (heart or lung disease, metabolic disease [like diabetes], kidney disease, a blood disorder, or a weakened immune system).
  • Women who will be pregnant this season.
  • People who live in nursing homes or other chronic-care places.
  • People who are 6 months to 18 years of age, and take aspirin daily.
  • Health-care workers who take care of patients.
  • People who have or take care of a baby under 6 months old. (Do not give a flu shot to babies under 6 months.)

So... I with this information helpful, and I hope fewer people or less to be attacked by influenza. Believe me, it's annoying...

Reach My Goal

As a human I have a desire, so great desire. I don't know whether that was a sin or not. I just know that is essential to me. That desire make me and push me to setup my goal. The Goal is something that I would try to reach. How to reach it? That the challenge of life. And the goal make me have a better vision in my life, because I have a dream. If I have a dream, I have a good perspective in my life.

Everybody wants to be success, and only few are the winner. To be a winner we have to fight and brave. Our goal is our purpose to fight. Remember that no one fight for nothing. And to be brave is to get a power to do the fight. Bravery is imaginary power inside us that make us do perhaps the most impossible things. Someone who never start something will gets nothing. Once we think that we could do something impossible, we have start something.

I ask myself if I had a goal. And (thanks God) the answer is yes. I have long term goal and short term goal. My long term goal are to be succeeded in work on the television, to make a better life to my family and myself, and to create something that will make me still exist in the world even though I am gone. While, my short term goal honestly could be simple and reachable, but still have effort to do. My short term goal are to get a new part-timer job with a good payment, to buy a notebook and other helpful electronic stuffs so I can practice and make money on its, and to get a better vision from everybody I would know.

Now I try to gain my power into maximum availability otherwise I won't have a spirit to reach my goal. I do hard to pray and hope that all of my goal will be accomplished with God's helpful hand and my power for sure. I always remember that people always have a control of many things. We are what we want to be. There is no failure, there are just some people who dismiss their success. We have wings even though we are not a bird, we have claws even though we are not a tiger, we have fin even though we are not a whale, that's all because we are a human an extraordinary creature.
