MSI Wind U100 : Ah Pengeenn...

Pertama kali denger sekarang baru trend netbook alias notebook dengan ukuran mini namun dilengkapi sistem oprasi standar notebook ukuran normal aku langsung penasaran banget. Merk yang pertama kali aku tengok adalah Asus EeePC yang menurut aku standar banget walaupun lightweight skali. Pas di Mall Taman Anggrek nggak sengaja lewati gerai MSI waktu pameran, dan dipajanglah netbook terbaru MSI yaitu MSI Wind U100 yang seksi abis. Dari bentuk aja udah bikin aku ngiler banget, apalagi setelah baca spesifikasinya aduh tambah ngiler....

Dengan spesifikasi kayak gitu, aku (kalo emang kesampaian beli...) bisa dengan mudah posting blog, ngerjain tugas-tugas kuliah aku yang seabrek, design-design grafis, dan hal-hal produktif lainnya. Selain ukurannya yang mini beratnya juga nggak sampai satu kilo. Selamat tinggal sakit punggung gara-gara bawa notebook berat di ransel.

Dari testimonial orang yang udah pake dan coba (termasuk aku) performance netbook ini termasuk bagus. We can't expect so many things but so far it's sufficient. Untuk kerjaan sedang ke lumayan berat rasanya cukup. Dukungan processor Intel Atom yang terbaru memang berperan banyak disini. Untuk koneksi wireless ada WiFi b/g. Layarnya cukup lebar dengan resolusi 1024x800 pixel, bikin browsing terasa nyaman. Keyboardnya yahud banget, serasa ngetik di laptop ukuran besar.

Pokoknya barang ini masuk di wishlist aku banget deh. Moga-moga aja bisa cepet kesampaian beli. You are my superhero windy....

Kapitalisme yang Mendarah Daging

Modernitas seringkali memicu seseorang untuk terjebak kedalam suatu ideologi yang dinamakan kapitalisme. Sebenarnya apa sih yang dimaksud kapitalisme itu sendiri. Menurut Wikipedia kapitalisme adalah suatu paham yang mana para pemilik modal bisa melakukan usahanya agar dapat meraih keuntungan sebesar-besarnya. Dari itulah jelas bahwa kapitalisme mampu mendorong seseorang untuk berperilaku konsumtif. Indikatornya begitu jelas, di Indonesia saat ini, begitu banyak orang yang membeli sesuatu (katakanlah barang elektronik) padahal mereka tidak benar-benar membutuhkannya.

Contoh lainnya adalah Microsoft dengan produk Windows yang menguasai pasar software sistem operasi. Begitu kuat pengaruh yang dimilikinya sehingga memiliki pengguna yang begitu besar hampir di seluruh dunia. Hal ini menimbulkan ketergantungan masyarakat atas jasa Microsoft, sehingga keuntungan maksimum dapat diperoleh. Salah satu keburukan dari sistem kapitalis adalah kemampuannya untuk mampu menciptakan orang/lembaga yang memiliki kontrol penuh atas penguasaan ekonomi dan tentunya hal ini sangat bertentangan dengan ideologi perekonomian Indonesia (negara tempat saya tinggal). Kapitalisme dapat membuat jurang yang begitu dalam antara kemakmuran dan kemiskinan, meruntuhkan sektor usaha-usaha kecil dan menindas kaum ekonomi lemah.


Gaya hidup konsumtif yang diciptakan oleh kapitalisme sangat memiliki dampak buruk terhadap masyarakat. Produk-produk yang ditawarkan oleh pengusaha kapitalis selalu menguasai sektor penting dalam kehidupan. Iklan-iklan yang ditayangkan oleh televisi mendorong masyarakat untuk membeli barang-barang yang ditawarkan. Orang-orang sibuk membeli kulkas, televisi, hp baru padahal mereka masih memiliki yang lama. Hal itu mereka lakukan hanya karena tertarik untuk fitur baru yang ditawarkan yang sebenarnya tidak benar-benar mereka butuhkan. Tingkat konsumsi yang tinggi menciptakan pengeluaran yang besar disaat kondisi perekonomian dunia yang buruk. Ketidakseimbangan antara pengeluaran dan pendapatan juga dorongan masyarakat untuk terus mampu memenuhi kebutuhan konsumtifnya memicu angka kriminalitas yang tinggi.

Hal-hal yang telah saya paparkan hanyalah salah satu paparan kecil yang sampai saat ini mampu saya temukan....

Sticky Mucus : Influenza Attack

Not everyone has to have a flu shot. Some people are more at risk for catching the flu and suffering from complications than others. They should get a flu shot every fall. The Centers for Disease Control recommends that you get the flu vaccine if you are in any of the following groups or live in a household with someone who is:

• Children ages 6 months to 23 months.
  
• People 65 years of age and older.
  
• People 2 years old or older who have an underlying, long-term illness (heart or lung disease, metabolic disease [like diabetes], kidney disease, a blood disorder, or a weakened immune system).
  
• Women who will be pregnant this season.
  
• People who live in nursing homes or other chronic-care places.
  
• People who are 6 months to 18 years of age, and take aspirin daily.
  
• Health-care workers who take care of patients.
  
• People who have or take care of a baby under 6 months old. (Do not give a flu shot to babies under 6 months.)

Reach My Goal

As a human I have a desire, so great desire. I don't know whether that was a sin or not. I just know that is essential to me. That desire make me and push me to setup my goal. The Goal is something that I would try to reach. How to reach it? That the challenge of life. And the goal make me have a better vision in my life, because I have a dream. If I have a dream, I have a good perspective in my life.

Everybody wants to be success, and only few are the winner. To be a winner we have to fight and brave. Our goal is our purpose to fight. Remember that no one fight for nothing. And to be brave is to get a power to do the fight. Bravery is imaginary power inside us that make us do perhaps the most impossible things. Someone who never start something will gets nothing. Once we think that we could do something impossible, we have start something.

I ask myself if I had a goal. And (thanks God) the answer is yes. I have long term goal and short term goal. My long term goal are to be succeeded in work on the television, to make a better life to my family and myself, and to create something that will make me still exist in the world even though I am gone. While, my short term goal honestly could be simple and reachable, but still have effort to do. My short term goal are to get a new part-timer job with a good payment, to buy a notebook and other helpful electronic stuffs so I can practice and make money on its, and to get a better vision from everybody I would know.


Now I try to gain my power into maximum availability otherwise I won't have a spirit to reach my goal. I do hard to pray and hope that all of my goal will be accomplished with God's helpful hand and my power for sure. I always remember that people always have a control of many things. We are what we want to be. There is no failure, there are just some people who dismiss their success. We have wings even though we are not a bird, we have claws even though we are not a tiger, we have fin even though we are not a whale, that's all because we are a human an extraordinary creature.

Hidup Begitu Adil

Sebenarnya di dunia tidak ada ketidakadilan yang terjadi. Bila seseorang mencoba untuk berpikir lebih dalam dan kritis, maka dia akan dapat memahami bahwa semua hal yang terjadi dalam hidup ini adalah sesuatu yang sebenarnya harus dan pantas untuk terjadi. Kadang manusia menangis atau mengeluh oleh perlakuan yang tidak menguntungkan sama sekali karena keegoisan dan sifat kekanakan yang dia miliki.

Sifat egois memang bakat alami manusia. Manusia rela bertarung untuk hidup dan eksis di dunia ini. Kadang mereka mampu menghalalkan segala cara untuk memperoleh apa yang dimilikinya, termasuk merugikan orang lain. Namun setelah itu mereka lupa akan dosa yang telah mereka lakukan. Padahal dosa itu akan selalu menghantui hidup mereka dan menuntut untuk dibayar dengan tuntas. Dosa sudah ada sejak awal manusia diciptakan untuk hidup di muka bumi ini. Semenjak itu, bagaikan reaksi berantai dosa terus menurus menghinggapi keturunan-keturunan umat manusia.

Tuhan begitu Maha Pengasih. Dia tidak akan begitu saja membiarkan suatu perlakuan yang tidak adil pada diri makhluk ciptaannya. Hanya kadang manusia tidak begitu mengerti dan memahami kata "ADIL" dalam padangan Tuhan. Dosa tidak begitu saja terjadi dan secara gratis bebas dari hukuman, sekali lagi Tuhan itu adil. Untuk itulah Tuhan selalu meminta manusia untuk bersabar dan intropeksi diri.


God always give more when He take something, He is so rich and never give less. Jika manusia mampu untuk memahami ungkapan diatas maka kita akan menjadi hambanya yang begitu bersyukur. Bila seseorang benar-benar memahami dan melihat dirinya di dalam cermin, tampaklah karunia dan anugerah yang dilimpahkan begitu banyak pada diri kita terlepas dari segala kekurangan yang mungkin ada. Manusia kadang selalu bimbang dalam menentukan kemana arah pandangan mereka. Mereka harus melihat ke atas sebagai motivasi untuk terus berkembang dan maju. Namun mereka perlu juga untuk melihat ke bawah untuk terus mensyukuri apa yang telah mereka miliki dan selalu menjaganya.

Dunia ini penuh dengan keseimbangan. Dosa selalu diciptakan berdampingan dengan pahala. Pria diciptakan berdampingan dengan wanita. Segalanya bertujuan untuk saling melengkapi. Dunia ini tidak tercipta untuk menjadi hitam atau putih, karena Tuhan tidak pernah menciptakan kedua warna itu.

Manusia yang bijaksana selayaknya harus selalu bercermin untuk intropeksi diri. Tidak ada hal yang seharusnya untuk disesali. Segalanya adalah suatu resiko yang patut untuk dijalani. Hidup merupakan tanggung jawab dan tugas yang harus dijalani oleh seluruh makhluk Tuhan.

Hidup dan Kehidupan Lagi

Sebenarnya begitu sederhananya esensi dari suatu kehidupan seorang manusia. Dilahirkan, hidup beberapa tahun dan mati. Tidak ada yang special, bahkan bintangpun tak menyadari akan kehadirannya. Namun mengapa yang terjadi tidaklah sesederhana kelihatannya. Dalam waktu yang tidak sampai satu abad, manusia harus mengalami fase-fase yang begitu rumit dan membingungkan.

Kehidupan manusia tercipta sebagai suatu sistem yang komplek yang diciptakan oleh Tuhan. Manusia dalam hal ini bertindak sebagai player dalam permainan yang berlangsung selama kurang lebih satu abad. Ada penalty, dan ada reward. Penalty diberikan dalam bentuk dosa, karma, azab dll. Adapun reward diperoleh manusia dalam bentuk pahala, balasan, dll. Semuanya kadang begitu abstrak, sehingga sulit untuk digambarkan. Bagaimana semua itu dapat diukur, sedangkan poinnya sendiri tidak nampak jelas di depan mata.


Bukan tidak mungkin kita mengetahui atau paling tidak memprediksinya (poin tersebut). Manusia sebenarnya memiliki indra yang dapat mengkur derajat dirinya sendiri. Semua orang sebenarnya sadar dengan sesungguh hati akan dosa-dosa dan penalty yang didapatkannya dari perbuatannya. Akan tetapi banyak juga yang mengikari dan menutup-nutupinya, seolah begitu malu akan refleksi diri dalam cermin. Sehingga yang terjadi hanyalah pembenaran dan pemakluman.

Hal itulah yang membuat manusia semakin terjerumus dan melakukan hal-hal di dunia ini tanpa perhitungan akan akibatnya. Seakan-akan dirinya dapat hidup berjuta-juta tahun lamanya dan menganggap kematian adalah semu.

Bila dapat diandaikan suatu penalty dan reward itu tidak ada, maka manusia akan selalu saja merugi. Apalah makna hidup bila selalu dijalani di luar jalan yang semestinya dan dapat diterima hati nurani. Suatu jeritan penyesalan dalam hati adalah sebuah hukuman yang begitu berat yang diterima. Akankah manusia dapat selalu hidup dalam penyesalan atas segala perbuatan yang tidak pernah diperhitungkan sebelumnya.

Mengapa manusia ini begitu naif? Menganggap suatu kematian adalah momok terbesar. Padahal kematian dapat menjadi soatu obat yang mujarab untuk menghentikan perbuatan dosa kita. Apakah yang akan terjadi bila dari tahun ke tahun dosa-dosa tidak dapat terhapus dan semakin bertambah. Dosa itu akan tertumpuk dan tak terhapuskan. Pada saat itu mungkin akan ada manusia yang berharap dia dapat mati muda dahulu.

Hidup ini dapat menjadi jebakan yang mengerikan. Sebuah bangkai yang ditutupi oleh bunga agar manusia menjadi terperangkap dan terpuruk. Untuk melewatinya harus digunakan langkah yang jitu dan cekatan. Sekali lagi, manusia hanya dapat berharap agar dirinya cukup mampu untuk tidak terperangkap. Begitu NAIFnya.

Jakarta : Experience and Adventure

This holiday, I experience 4 days of nice adventure in Jakarta. I took a plane to go there. Using the Mandala Airlines, that also my first flight. The wow effect enter all of my veins and brain, totally surpised and shocked. There were no problem on fight to Jakarta, but when return... I will tell you later.

After all the first flight was nice, as I sat nest to the window I see the bird view of my town (Jogjakarta), the other town in the west side of my town during the track and surely Jakarta. The view of terrain was wonderful and extremely beautiful. Everything that I saw on SimsCity was appear. It seems unreal and painting-like, but off course that true view. I saw the volcanoes as the heaps, the farms field as the large green carpet, the rivers as the complex shinning curve, and the town and roads as the brick of LEGO. It doesn't take a long time as I arrived in Jakarta, only approximately 45 minute of flight in 3000 feet above the sea level. For me that's a great experience.

Once I arrived in Jakarta, I noticed the great International Sukarno Hatta Airport, but I guess it's only biggest in Indonesia and still it biggest airport I ever seen. I took a bus to Slipi to meet my friends. First day in Jakarta I travel to Slipi Jaya (ordinary) mall, Mall Taman Anggrek (what a big mall!), then to the crowded mobile phone market in Roxy Mas. I have took lunch in Slipi Jaya, but not my friend (I think, even though he always says yes if I ask him whether he have took lunch or not). We got a new member of tour adventure in Roxy Mas, so we are 4some. Me and three of my friends seem overly tired, but not tired enough for three of us. After said goodbye to one of my friend, we continued our adventure to Mall Ciputra. There's no special thing we've done in all of these mall, just window shopping but still great. In 8.00am the rescue came, my supporter to live in Jakarta. We took dinner (4 persons) in chinese restaurant, perfect place to kill the painful-hunger. Then we said goodbye to each other and I walked to homestay, the place to spend the next 3 day in Jakarta.

The plan for the first day in Jakarta was watching the Indonesian Idol in the live stage. The event started at 7pm, so I spent the morning and afternoon just to rest, breakfast, lunch and walk around Jakarta to comfort myself. In 5pm we (me and my supporter) travel to Plaza Semanggi to watch the Indonesian Idol and to meet two of our new friends. We take dinner in Shabu-Tei Japanese restaurant, a place where my trouble of chopstick begin. After dinner we go to Balai Sarbini stage to participate on Indonesian Idol. I noticed that the stage was not as big as in TV, surprising.


Second day was the time of nice experience in television journalism. We (me, my supporte who also a TV reporter, and two of our friends) go to Blok M to take a reportation of girl volley competition. I found the boring time as I hate sport, hehehehe. Next agenda after this reportation was the Ancol, not to vacation but also a reportation. We took a reportation in the crowded beach where all the people done vacation. It was the school holiday, so that is the reason why. After the beach the reportation continued to Police Academy Stuntman Show in Carnival Beach. The stunt show was extremely great and shocking plus we enter for free, I got free photo session too. As all of the reportation ended, we went back to TV station. There, I saw the activity of TV crew. They worked for news presentation programme. That's where the activity behind the programme that we saw on TV.


Our agenda of Mall-to-mall began in third day of my trip. I did appointment with my supporter in Mall Taman Anggrek. In 11am, together we went to Senayan City - (maybe) the biggest mall in Jakarta. In Senayan City, everything is on their class, all expensive but for window shopping that place is wonderful. Next to Senayan City there were two mall Plaza Senayan and ITC Senayan. ITC Senayan was so desolated, so we moved directly to Plaza Senayan. Plaza Senayan was also expensive but reachable. After Plaza Senayan we went to FX mall, where the biggest slides located. The Mall-to-mall agenda ended in Mall Taman Anggrek, where we did dinner and said goodbye to each other. But for me, my agenda still continued, I watched movie in XXI theater. The movie I watched was Get Smart, it was funny. My activity that day ended at 1am. Even though Jakarta was nice I still felt lonely and homesick. I sent SMS to my mother and friends in Jogja, I really missed them. Those reason made me took decision not to make my trip longer.

Last day of trip was time to another reportation in Ministry of Transportation on their technology presentation. That day I met new friend from Singapore who did apprentice in TV station. She was so nice and she was originally from Indonesia but studied in Singapore. As the Ministry of Transportation reportation over, we continued to Meruya to report the live of our friend there. We went to FX Mall, that was the time for me to experience the extremely high slides in Southeast Asia, hehehe that was scary and gave me so much adrenaline. The evening came, as our reportation and tour all over it was time for me to go back to Jogjakarta. We went together to the same airport as I arrived Jakarta. Goodbye Jakarta.

The last flight was nice, I did in the evening and I got place next to the aisle. But still I could see the view of Jakarta at night above, It was diamond-like. The flight took 50 minutes of time, and I felt trouble on my ear during the take-off and landing, that was really painful. I bought the soft toys airplane-like to my little sister. At 8pm, I landed and welcome back Jogja.
